Fuada Stanković is professor of economics at the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Law.

Stanković was a Fulbright scholar and visiting professor at the
University of California at Berkeley and Boise Idaho State University. |
| In the 1980’s she was a regional secretary of science and a president of US-Yugoslav Joint Board for scientific cooperation. |
| From 2001 to 2004 she was rector at the University of Novi Sad. |
| During
her tenure as rector, Professor Stanković has worked toward engaging
the University in an international network and European projects. She
has also worked on improving the University management and promoting
the University of Novi Sad as an entrepreneurial university. |
| She is a member of the EUA pool for external evaluation, the UNESCO-CEPES Council, and the Executive Board of IUC in Dubrovnik. |
