2. Aims of the Course: Familiarization with system of education in Serbia, and learning basics methods of research - comparative analysis. Development of understanding with political, social and economic condition affect educational legislative, systems of formal education, goals, and programmes (curricula) Clarify the fundamental principles of educational policies, concepts, and educational reforms in Serbia. Doing research and reporting results of the research in field of system of education. |

Course Delivery | 3. Contents: Structure of System of Education. Goals of Education. Analysis of organization, curriculum, and content of education (early childhood intervention and preschool education, primary, secondary schools and university education). Legislation and administration and fundamental principle of educational policy. Teacher training. Educational research in scope of system. Results and effects of education. Education for all in the new scientific and technical environment and taking into account disadvantaged groups. Major trends in education in Serbia. Specific aspects of education development. Regional and international educational co-operation. Current reforms of education system including higher education with the focus on Bologna process. |
